    With many exciting opportunities across our teams, here at our operations in India we have recently collaborated with one of India’s leading research institutions, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), to establish the BTIRC - BT India Research Center. Located in Bengaluru, this new collaborative research centre is just the beginning of BT’s progressive new phase of UK-India joint research, and it will focus on the development of the next generation of cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI), mobility and software engineering technologies.

  • Australia

    We’ve been operating in Australia for 30 years. In 2017, we opened a cyber security R&D facility in Sydney, which is part of the expanded Security Operation Centre. The areas of expertise in the R&D facility include cyber security, machine learning, data science analytics and visualisation, big data engineering, cloud computing, data networking, and the full life cycle of software engineering.

  • Middle East & Africa

    We’ve been present in the Middle-East and Africa since the 1980s and support customers from three regional hubs in Istanbul, Dubai and Johannesburg. We also operate EBTIC, an innovation centre in Abu Dhabi, in co-operation with Etisalat and Khalifa University.

     

  • North East Asia

    With Hong Kong serving as the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa headquarters, the North East Asia region holds great significance for us. We are the first international provider to receive domestic nationwide telecommunications service licences from the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, a China nationwide Domestic IP-VPN licence and China nationwide Internet Service Provider (ISP) licence.

  • South East Asia

    We’ve been operating in South East Asia for over 30 years and have offices in Singapore (our headquarters), Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh and Manila. The vibrant market in Southeast Asia continues to provide organisations with huge possibilities for growth.
