How do I set up BT Cloud?

A quick quide for setting up BT Cloud on your computer or your devices. You'll need to register on My BT first before downloading the software and installing it on your computer. Or go to the app store to download it on to your device.

Here's a quick guide for setting up BT Cloud:

1. Registration

  1. Log in to www.btcom.ll-digital-sandbx1.bt.com/mybt using your BT ID
  2. Go to Your Products
  3. Scroll down to the BT Cloud panel and Activate

2. Set up BT Cloud on your PC or Mac

  1. Go to www.btcom.ll-digital-sandbx1.bt.com/cloud/download on your PC or Mac to download BT Cloud, then install it on your computer
  2. Open the BT Cloud app, and log in using your BT ID
  3. You can choose folders on your computer to automatically back up to BT Cloud on the Backup tab. You can also add content from your computer to BT Cloud by dragging it into the BT Cloud folder, or by right clicking on the content you'd like to add and then selecting ‘Copy to BT Cloud'

3. Set up BT Cloud on your phone or tablet

  1. Go to www.btcom.ll-digital-sandbx1.bt.com/cloud/download on your Apple, Android or Windows Phone device, and install the BT Cloud app
  2. Open the app, and select the content you'd like BT Cloud to automatically back up

  1. Go to www.btcom.ll-digital-sandbx1.bt.com/mybt and log into My BT using your BT ID. If you don't have one already, you can sign up here

  2. Go down to the "Use your extras, at no extra cost" section and select Manage your extras

  3. Now click on the Download BT Cloud option

  1. Go to www.btcom.ll-digital-sandbx1.bt.com/cloud/download on your PC or Mac to download BT Cloud
  2. Once the file is downloaded, open it to install on your computer. Once it's installed, tick "Run BT Cloud" to open the software

  3. Go to the Backup tab, and select the folders on your computer you'd like to automatically backup to BT Cloud. You can add folders to the automatic backup list by clicking Add Folder

  4. Want to add your iTunes library to BT Cloud? Go to the Music tab, click Find Music, and then select what you'd like to add

  5. BT Cloud Sync Folder will show all the content you have stored on BT Cloud. To quickly add something to BT Cloud, just drag it into the folder

  1. Search "BT Cloud" on your app store, or visit www.btcom.ll-digital-sandbx1.bt.com/download on your phone or tablet to be taken straight to the app store page for your device
  2. Install the BT Cloud app, then open it once it's installed
  3. Login with your BT ID
  4. Choose what content you'd like to automatically back up to BT Cloud
