Coronavirus: Delivery, installation and repair information >
Your Fibre service will usually be provided via a fibre cable running between the exchange and your street cabinet, then a copper cable from the cabinet to your home.
If you are setting up Fibre yourself, get installation instructions here.
If an engineer is setting it up, read about what happens here.
How do I know if an engineer is setting up my Fibre?
In some cases an engineer will need to visit your home to optimise your telephone line for Fibre. This will depend on the product you order and the telephone line at your home. We'll let you know when you place your order if we need to send an engineer and book an appointment for you. Your order confirmation email or letter will also give you details of any engineer appointment or if you can install the service yourself.
If you do need an engineer to get Fibre we won't charge you anything extra.
