In spring 2020, most sports events were cancelled due to Covid-19. So we offered BT Sport customers a bill credit to cover the cost of their subscription. Customers could either keep their credit or donate it to the NHS.
Can I still claim my bill credit?
Unfortunately the deadline for claiming a bill credit – 16 June 2020 – has now passed.
Why did bill credits end?
Customers could apply for a bill credit while live sport was on hold. But as of June 2020, live sport and the Premier League are back on BT Sport. If you need to discuss this further please contact us.
I cancelled BT Sport, how do I set it up again?
If you cancelled BT Sport you’ll need to resubscribe. Just take a look at our great range of BT Sport packages to find the one that’s right for you.
How can I view my bill credit?
If you claimed a bill credit, your BT Sport payment will still leave your account as normal. Then a refund will appear on the next bill in the Credit and adjustment section. If you claimed a credit after we generated your monthly bill, it will appear on the bill after that.
How can I view my donation to the NHS?
If you claimed a bill credit and donated it to the NHS, your BT Sport payment will still leave your account as normal. Then both the bill credit and the donation will appear in your next bill. You can see the bill credit:
1. Arriving in your account (in the Credits and adjustment section)
2. Leaving your account to go to the NHS (in the One-off charges section)
If you claimed/donated the credit after we generated your monthly bill, it will appear on the bill after that.
Why have I been billed when I claimed a credit?
Your bill credit does not stop a BT Sport payment going through, it refunds it afterwards. So your payment for BT Sport will still leave your account as normal. Then the credit will appear on your next bill. Or, if you claimed a credit after we generated your monthly bill, it will appear on the bill after that.
Can I pause BT Sport?
You can pause BT Sport if you’re on a Flexible TV package. If you’re on another package and want to pause, just upgrade to Flexible TV.
I cancelled my Direct Debit; can I still watch BT Sport?
Yes, just set up your Direct Debit again.
