Sometimes live sport can over-run, messing up the TV schedule. For example, a football match can go into extra time without the TV guide being updated. Programmes on afterwards might then show later than planned. It can be exciting when this happens during a tight game, but unfortunate if it means your recording misses the end.
It's worth checking other BT Sport recordings, to see if it's happening all the time. If so, check the service status page for any known issues:
If the problem is affecting all recordings, not only BT Sport, then there may be an issue with your set top box. If you're watching on the Sky Digital Satellite Platform, you'll need to speak to Sky or your satellite service provider for more help.
If you regularly lose recordings and are watching on BT TV, please call us on 0800 111 4567.
