Data compression apps and BT Sport

Data compression apps are designed to reduce the amount of data that you use on mobile devices. For example, when you're browsing the web, sharing photos or using social media.

If you're having trouble watching BT Sport, we recommend you try uninstalling any data compression apps on your device (using the same process as for any other app).

The data compression app may have installed a profile on the device, which you'll also need to remove. Instructions for how to do this vary, but here's how to do this on Apple devices:

  1. Open Settings > Genera > Profiles
  2. Click on the profile for the data compression app, and then tap Remove.

You should then restart your device and try watching BT Sport again.
