How to join the action

Here's how you join all the action on BT Sport:


1. Place your order

You can watch BT Sport on your TV, the BT Sport App and online player.

Click here to order BT Sport now >

If you're a BT Broadband customer and only want to watch on the BT Sport App or online player, you'll still need to place an order.

Once you've placed your order, we'll send you a confirmation email containing all the information you need.

2. Get a BT ID

If you already have a BT account you probably already have a BT ID. These are the details you use to log in online to view your bills.

If you don't have a BT ID yet, you can create one now All you need is an email address and your account number which you'll find at the top of your latest bill. If you haven't got a bill, we can send you your account number in the post >


3. Watching on a smartphone or tablet?

Use our App. Download the BT Sport App from the Apple App Store, Amazon Appstore, Roku store, NOW TV App Store, or the Google Play Store>

The BT Sport app is not available for Amazon devices.

Remember, only the account holder's BT ID can be used to log into the app and online player.


4. Watching on the online player?

5. Watching on your TV box?

If you're watching on BT TV you'll find the BT Sport channels from 408 onwards. If you're watching on your Sky box they're from channel 413 onwards.

Where are the BT Sport channels? >

If you subscribe to BT Sport Pack or BT Sport Lite, over the Sky Platform, you'll also get the AMC channel from BT TV in SD, channel 186. If you subscribe to our BT Sport HD add-on you'll be able to watch AMC in HD on channel 840.

6. Watching on a smart TV, games console or connected device?

Search for BT Sport in the app store and download to start watching.

Login using your BT ID and password.

7. What about HD?

If you don't already have our luxurious HD channels, you can place an order online. If you have BT TV and a 4K telly, why not go for Ultra HD?

What about the BT Sport App and online player?

The BT Sport App and online access at btsport.com is included when you take the BT Sport Pack on BT TV or via Sky TV.

If you're already subscribed to BT Sport, simply download the App from the Apple App Store, Amazon Appstore, Google Play Store, NOW TV App Store or Roku store, or go to btsport.com to start viewing. You'll need a BT ID to use it which is the same as your My BT log-in. You can find out more about BT ID here >

Can I use the BT Sport App without having BT Broadband or Sky TV?

No, you must be a BT Sport Pack subscriber or a BT Broadband customer to get the BT Sport App or watch online at btsport.com.

 

Getting BT Sport when you don't have BT TV

 

BT Mobile customers will no longer be able to watch BT Sport on the BT Sport App.

You'll need a BT ID to use the BT Sport App. You can download the app from the Apple App or Google Play stores once you've ordered your BT Mobile plan and have your BT ID. Create a BT ID now >

All BT Sport games are available on Sky TV, so you never have to miss any of the action.

The BT Sport digital service (app and online player) is now available to Plusnet broadband customers for £5 a month.

EE has announced an exclusive BT Sport app offer for its new and existing pay-monthly customers.

The offer is available to EE customers on consumer and small business pay-monthly handset, tablet and SIM-only plans, using iOS and Android devices.

Sports fans can stream live action, or watch highlights over EE’s 4G network, or on wi-fi.

To order BT Sport on your EE mobile device you’ll need to contact EE directly. You can dial 150 from an EE mobile or visit www.ee.co.uk for more information.

You need to have Freesat from Sky to order BT Sport on Freesat. This means you’ll need a Sky box and Sky dish if you want to watch BT Sport on the Sky Digital Satellite Platform.

Yes BT Sport is available on your Sky box in the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.

BT Sport prices in the Channel Islands (but not the Isle of Man) are exclusive of UK VAT, but inclusive of appropriate local taxes.

On the Sky Digital Satellite Platform

If you have a Sky box and viewing card (whether or not you have a Sky subscription) you can easily take BT Sport from us. You don't need to be a BT customer - but if you have our broadband, it's available from £5 per month. And it's only available direct from BT.

With BT Broadband

BT Broadband customers (without a fibre connection) won’t be able to access BT Sport on their BT TV box. However you'll be able to get the BT Sport App on all supported devices, through the BT Sport App only package.

Yes, you can get BT Sport if you bought your YouView box from a high street retailer and not directly from BT.

You need BT TV to watch BT Sport on YouView.

BT Sport channels and ESPN are available as part of the eir Sports Pack in the Republic of Ireland. BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2, BT Sport 3, BT / ESPN, BT Sport Extra and Box Nation will bring eir subscribers additional top sport which includes:

  • 42 Live Premier League games including 18 first pick game
  • 25 Live FA Cup games
  • Exclusive coverage of the UCL and UEL until the end of the 2020/21 season
  • Live Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1
  • 30 Scottish Premier League Games
  • 30 Exclusively Live UFC events including the World Championships
