If you've got more than one email address (especially if they're with different service providers), remembering different usernames and passwords can be confusing. So we've made it easier for you to link and manage different email accounts from within BT Email without having to switch between them. It also means you can search across all your mailboxes and find photos, files, messages or contacts.
Switching between mailboxes is easy. And when you write an email, we'll send it from the email address associated with the mailbox you've selected.
Even if you set up your account through a web browser on your computer, you only need to set up your mailbox once. After that, BT Email will stay connected to the mailbox across all devices and automatically retrieve your email.
If your email looks like this, then you're on BT Yahoo Mail:

- Log into BT email at www.btcom.ll-digital-sandbx1.bt.com and choose the More settings option from the 'Cog' icon in the top right corner
- Now select Mailboxes from the left hand menu
- Next click Add mailbox and select your email service provider
- Select the email service provider and add the email address you want to link. Then click Next
- To validate you, we'll ask you to sign into the account you want to add. Enter the email address and password and click on Next
- Now you'll need to click Continue to give permission for your external email address to be linked to your BT Email account
- You'll see a message saying we're adding your external account. Click Done
- You'll now go back to the main Accounts Settings tab where you'll see the added account. Remember to click Save
- Click on the mailbox to edit the details
If your email looks like this, you're on BT Mail:
- Select Settings from the drop down in the top right hand corner
- Now select Mail from the left hand menu, then Accounts and finally the Add button
- A pop-up window will appear. Provide the details of the external account you wish to add and then click Save
- You'll get a message to confirm that your external account has been added and it should be visible in your list of accounts
- If you return to the Mail tab, your added account should appear in your list of folders. By clicking on this link you should be able to access the emails for this account
Please note: Some service providers may send an email requiring validation of the addition. If you are having difficulty accessing your added account via BT Mail, please log into your external email account and check for an email from your service provider.
