Here's everything you need to know about Netflix from BT.
Learn about Netflix from BT
Netflix and BT have partnered together to bring you the best TV, Film and Entertainment streaming service available with your BT TV package. So whether you're a new or existing BT TV customer, you can now add a Netflix subscription to your BT bill.
Subscribing to Netflix with BT will give you access to the Netflix Player on the BT TV box and thousands of eligible devices such as smartphones, tablets and computers.
If you're an existing BT TV customer you can add Netflix here. Or simply sign up directly through channel 333, or via the Netflix player, on your BT TV box. Your Netflix charge will then be added to your next BT bill.
If you're not yet a BT TV customer, you'll need to subscribe to a BT TV package and choose Netflix as an add-on during the order process. You can place your order here. Once activated, your Netflix charge will then be added to your next BT bill.
Netflix membership is a rolling monthly subscription service, paid for in advance. The subscription charge will appear under the 'BT TV' section on your BT bill.
You may notice that the dates are slightly different to other BT products on your bill, as this depends on when you order.
Netflix offers a free month of service for new customers. Simply sign up as normal and you won’t be billed for your first month, as long as you're signing up for the first time.
You can then either choose to cancel before the end of the first month, or simply do nothing and you'll be charged for your membership starting from the following month.
Yes, you can log in using an existing active account. Just enter your existing account details into the Netflix app on your TV box by selecting 'Sign in'.
Watching via the player on the BT TV box won't count towards your broadband usage. If you watch Netflix on any other devices in the home connected to your BT Broadband, then it will count. If you have an unlimited broadband package, then you don't need to worry about this.
With all BT Broadband packages, your internet speed could slow down if you use any streaming services (including those on BT TV) at the same time as using your broadband for other purposes.
