We’ve got another huge weekend in store to keep you entertained as lockdown continues across the UK.

From a Premier League double-header, to every Gallagher Premiership fixture, and UFC to boxing, there’s plenty to keep you glued to BT Sport.

Premier League

The Premier League weekend begins on BT Sport with an unmissable encounter between champions-elect Man City and European candidates West Ham.

Pep Guardiola’s side continued their inexorable march towards the title with a comfortable win at Arsenal last Sunday and made it 19 consecutive victories against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League in midweek.

Next up are a resurgent West Ham who have exceeded all expectations under David Moyes after a turbulent summer. The Hammers are fourth in the table and are bona fide Champions League contenders after a superb run of form.

Buoyed by the arrival of Jesse Lingard from Man United, they have won nine of their last 12 matches in all competitions and will be full of confidence ahead of the visit to the Etihad Stadium.

On Sunday, fellow European hopefuls Leicester City look to maintain their sterling form against a struggling Arsenal outfit.

The Foxes have only tasted defeat once in 2021 and are determined to banish memories of last season’s late collapse which cost them a place in the top four.

They face Mikel Arteta’s Gunners who are enduring a torrid season under the Spaniard. They have lost three of their last four matches in the Premier League and a top half finish is probably the best they can hope for this season.

Gallagher Premiership

Our exclusive live coverage of all six Gallagher Premiership matches this weekend starts with a huge meeting between Sale and Exeter on Friday evening.

Sale’s honeymoon period under Alex Sanderson is well and truly over after successive defeats to Bath and Harlequins. They’ll be desperate to bounce back against an Exeter side who suffered an agonising defeat to Northampton last time out.

The first of four matches on Saturday begins at Ashton Gate where league leaders Bristol Bears host eighth-placed Leicester Tigers.

Next up, an out-of-form Wasps side entertain London Irish. The Exiles pulled off a miraculous recovery to draw against Bristol last weekend and will be eyeing a victory over last season’s beaten finalists.

Harlequins will look to continue their remarkable run of form since Paul Gustard’s departure when they go in search of a fifth successive win against Newcastle Falcons, before bottom club Gloucester play host to Worcester Warriors.

Round 11 concludes on Sunday when Northampton look to maintain their perfect record since the Premiership returned in February against a Bath side who have picked up consecutive wins in their last two matches.

UFC

After Derrick Lewis sensationally upset Curtis Blaydes last week, we’ve got another tantalising heavyweight main event when Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Ciryl Gane meet on Saturday.

Number 4 ranked Rozenstruik is coming off of a big KO win over Junior dos Santos in his last outing, after suffering the first defeat of his career to Francis Ngannou at UFC 249.

Frenchman Gane has looked impressive since arriving in the UFC, with many tipping him to dominate the division in years to come.

The 30-year-old also beat Dos Santos in his last bout in December and his grappling expertise makes him favourite in a compelling main event.

The co-main is a light heavyweight bout between top-15 ranked Magomed Ankalaev and Nikita Krylov.

Ankalaev has back-to-back knockout wins over Ion Cutelaba in 2020, while Krylov earned a decision win over Johnny Walker last time out.

Boxing

Boxing returns to BT Sport for the first time this year but the sport that has been so disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic, felt the full force with this card too.

Lyon Woodstock was set to face Anthony Cacace for the British super featherweight title on Saturday, but tested positive for coronavirus in the build up to the event.

And that was after the pair were scheduled to meet on the Carl Frampton vs Jamel Herring undercard, but the bout was moved to main event after the Northern Irishman’s bid to become a three-weight world champion was postponed.

There's still plenty for fight fans to be excited about however with some great fights on the Copper Box bill.

Kaisy Khademi bids to double his belt tally by adding the vacant IBF European super flyweight crown to his WBO European title against Birmingham’s Ijaz Ahmed in the new headline fight.

While light heavyweight Tommy Fury is also back in action, looking to extend his perfect professional record to five wins.

National League

We have an exclusive offering from the National League on Saturday when promotion-chasing Hartlepool United welcome relegation-threatened Barnet to Victoria Park.

Dave Challinor’s side played out a goalless draw with Wrexham on Tuesday and will be looking to boost their title tilt with a win over 22nd-placed Barnet.

Tim Flowers’ Barnet side have endured a torrid campaign and are nine points adrift of safety in 22nd-place.

They have won only three matches all season and were thumped 5-1 by King’s Lynn Town on Tuesday.

“That was like watching children play, it’s nuts and bolts defending restarts,” an irate Flowers said after the drubbing. “I can’t keep putting things on in training anymore and coach these simple restarts. We’re in the game at 2-1 and concede a goal like that. It is pathetic.”

Saturday’s meeting between two former Football League clubs has huge implications at both ends of the table. Will Hartlepool pile more misery on Barnet? Or can The Bees spring a major surprise?
