Over a million homes have been badly damaged by floods in Pakistan

BT Sport supports the Disasters Emergency Committee’s (DEC) Pakistan Floods Appeal.

At least 1,300 people have died and a further 33 million have been affected by the devastating flood across the country.

Over a million homes have been badly damaged, with many left homeless and in need of food, shelter and clean drinking water.

Entire villages have been lost, and schools and roads in many areas have been damaged beyond repair.

The Pakistani government has called for international assistance to provide humanitarian aid in the worsening crisis.

DEC charities and their local partners are in Pakistan providing food, water, shelter and medical assistance.

The DEC brings together 15 leading aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of crisis overseas.

In these times of crisis, people in life-and-death situations need help and their mission is to save, protect and rebuild lives through effective humanitarian response.
