Leicester City are back in Europa Conference League action on Thursday as they take on French side Rennes in the first leg of their last 16 tie.
The Foxes progressed to the round of 16 as 7-2 aggregate winners against Danish side Randers in the play-off round just a few weeks ago to set up the tie with a team that finished top of Tottenham's group earlier in the competition.
City will look to take an advantage going into next week's trip to France as they welcome their opponents to the King Power Stadium.
FA Cup holders Leicester remain one of the favourites to make the final of the Europa Conference League in Albania, but face a tough test in Rennes over the next two weeks.
Rennes are one of the most in-form sides in Ligue 1 right now, winning their last three on the bounce whilst scoring 10 in the process.
The Brittany outift have earned a stellar reputation for producing young, exciting French talent and their current crop is making waves in France as they prepare to test their mettle against the Foxes.
A difficult start to 2022 saw Brendan Rodgers's men go five league games without a win, a miserable run of form that included a shock FA Cup exit at the hands of local rivals Nottingham Forest.
But back-to-back clean-sheet victories in their last two outings against Burnely and Leeds hold them in go stead as they prepare to resume their European adventure.
Both James Maddison and Ricardo Pereira could be back from injury for the encounter after missing the weekend's win over Leeds United.
Veteran striker Jamie Vardy could make his first appearance in the competition, with his last European outing coming in a 3-2 defeat to Napoli that ended Leicester's Europa League campaign.
