West Ham and Rangers, in the midst of their biggest ties in years, are a goal down as they prepare for momentous Europa League semi-final second legs against Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig respectively.
Both clubs have enjoyed electrifying campaigns so far and will be dreaming of reaching next month’s final in Seville.

David Moyes is remaining upbeat. "We’re only 2-1 down in a two-legged game," the West Ham boss said after the first-leg defeat. "So we’re still in it, but we know we’ll need to really up our levels and our standards to get through.
“We won’t get loads of moments. You’re trying to get into a final... we’ve done it before and we’ll have a go. But the big risk is that they’re a big counter-attacking side, which will be a risk to us as well.”
That Eintracht Frankfurt counter-attack proved a constant threat in the first leg in London, when the Germans scored with two slick passing moves to emerge with a one-goal advantage.
Up the other end, West Ham could have added to Michail Antonio's strike only for Jarrod Bowen to twice be denied by the woodwork.
The Englishman's first effort was a one-on-one chance, but his second was a spectacular overhead kick that was a whisker away from becoming perhaps the most memorable Hammers goal ever scored at the ground.
It should give the Londoners encouragement that they can overturn the deficit and advance to an historic European final in Seville.
Both sides suffered league defeats in the weekend leading up to this second leg, with West Ham losing 2-1 to Arsenal and Frankfurt going down 2-0 to Bayer Leverkusen.
It perhaps demonstrates the importance of making the final in Europe beyond all else, with both sides' hopes of qualifying for continental football through the league now all but done.
So over to Frankfurt for a gigantic all-or-nothing clash as West Ham bid to repeat the trick they managed against Sevilla and overturn a first-leg deficit to advance, this time to the Europa League final.

In a game of few clear-cut opportunities, Rangers found themselves on the wrong end of a moment of brilliance from Angelino to hand them a 1-0 first-leg defeat in the semi-finals.
The hosts enjoyed the better of the opportunities in Leipzig, but were left frustrated until the ex-Manchester City full-back fired in a dipping effort from outside the area with five minutes of normal time remaining.
It leaves Rangers with it all to do in Glasgow, but the Scottish giants will hope the home support can create a fiery atmosphere at Ibrox to help them along their way.
Gers struggled without a recognised centre-forward last Thursday, with wingers Scott Wright and Ryan Kent featuring up front as they continue to miss Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe.
Now Giovanni van Bronckhorst will be hoping others can weigh in to create some attacking threat in a second leg which they warmed up for by drawing 1-1 in Sunday’s Old Firm derby.
Leipzig meanwhile fell to a 3-1 defeat at Borussia Monchengladbach, their second loss on the trot in the Bundesliga, as they find themselves on the outside looking in in the battle to secure Champions League football for next season.
Domenico Tedesco’s men possess dangermen across the front three in Christopher Nkunku, Dani Olmo and Andre Silva though, and Rangers know they must stop them clicking into gear if they are to have any hopes of advancing to the final in Seville.
Will Rangers do the improbable and secure another famous Ibrox win in Europe to down the Germans in Glasgow? Or will it be Leipzig’s night and a first European showpiece clash for the controversial Bundesliga club?
