The second semi-final takes place the next day as Atletico Madrid face off against Athletic Bilbao, who lifted the coveted trophy last January after defeating Barcelona 3-2 in extra time in a thriller in Seville.
And we’ll be showing you all the action from the 2021/22 Supercopa de Espana final, also at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, on Sunday 16 January.
The new four-team format, which was introduced in 2019/20, sees the Copa del Rey finalists and the La Liga runners-up and champions do battle to decide who emerges as the kings of Spain.

Xavi’s Barcelona have qualified as last season’s Copa del Rey winners, while defeated finalists Athletic also make the cut.
Atletico are in Saudi Arabia as La Liga’s champions, with second-placed city rivals Real Madrid also making the trip.
Barcelona, who are the competition’s most successful side with 13 titles, will be out for revenge in Jeddah against fierce rivals Real after suffering a 2-1 loss to Carlo Ancelotti’s side at Camp Nou in October in a La Liga clash.
Spanish Super Cup on BT Sport
Real Madrid v Barcelona: Wednesday 12 January - BT Sport 1HD, 6.30pm (7pm KO)
Atletico Madrid v Athletic Bilbao: Thursday 13 January - BT Sport 1HD, 6.45pm (7pm KO)

Real have seized control of the title race in Spain and look set to reclaim the crown Atletico clinched last term, while Barcelona are languishing outside the Champions League places in the first post-Lionel Messi season.
Defending champions Atletico are struggling to compete with their rivals and Diego Simeone may look at the Supercopa de Espana as his only genuine chance of silverware this term.
They take on an Athletic team who are languishing in mid-table in Spain’s top flight, but who held Simeone’s men to a draw in September’s meeting at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Don't miss any of the action as BT Sport bring you every second of the Spanish Super Cup from the spectacular 62,000-capacity King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
