Premier League TV games: BT Sport announces eight matches in March including huge triple-header

BT Sport will show eight Premier League matches exclusively live in March, including an unmissable triple-header over three days.

Runaway league leaders Man City will be in action as well as a resurgent Chelsea, Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham, Arsenal and Everton.

Man City begin BT Sport’s coverage in March when they look to take one step closer to a third league title in four seasons against Wolves at the Etihad Stadium.

There is an air of invincibility about Pep Guardiola’s side while Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have struggled since talisman Raul Jimenez sustained a traumatic head injury in December.

The next day, bottom club Sheffield United entertain Aston Villa in a must-win for Chris Wilder’s side.

The Blades have failed to replicate last season’s form and must pull off a miraculous recovery act to retain their top-flight status.

Conversely, Villa have enjoyed a hugely impressive season under Dean Smith after narrowly avoiding relegation last term.

Spearheaded by Jack Grealish, the Villans have one eye on European qualification and will be looking to bolster their credentials by completing the double over Sheffield United.

An unmissable triple-header concludes in West London where Fulham host Tottenham at Craven Cottage.

Scott Parker’s Cottagers have shown signs of life after a torrid start to life back in the Premier League and they will be targeting an invaluable win in their bid to avoid the drop against a Tottenham side who have come off the boil under Mourinho.

Two days later, Burnley play host to Arsenal at Turf Moor. The Clarets could still be drawn into a relegation scrap despite a slight upturn in form, while Arteta’s side desperately need wins to keep their European hopes alive.

In a hugely consequential match in the race for Europe, Chelsea welcome Everton to Stamford Bridge on Monday 8 March.
