Since the competition’s inception in 2017/18, Saracens have won both Premier 15s titles before last season was declared null and void due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Sarries now have the chance to make it three on the bounce but must first overcome a Loughborough side who finished fourth in the table and pushed them hard on both occasions in the regular season before ultimately losing.

In the other semi-final, second-placed Harlequins play third-placed Wasps. Quins came out on top in both clashes in the regular season, winning 31-12 away and 20-19 at home.

“Today’s announcement enhances our position as the home of club rugby in the UK, with the leading domestic and European club competitions rugby available on BT Sport,” said Rachel Knight, BT Sport’s sports rights director.

“The addition of the Premier 15s further underlines our commitment to women’s sport with the competition joining our coverage of the culmination of this season’s Women’s UEFA Champions League and FA Women’s Super League in the coming weeks.”

RFU head of business development Nikki Emerson added: “BT Sport has cemented itself as the home of top-tier domestic and European men’s rugby over recent years.

“We’re excited to work with them to bring the best of women’s domestic rugby to their audience as part of the RFU’s commitment to growing awareness of and engagement with the Allianz Premier 15s league.”

The addition of the Premier 15s tees up a jam-packed month of elite level club rugby on BT Sport this May, with the Heineken Champions Cup and Challenge Cup finals, as well as the Gallagher Premiership run in, all broadcast live across our platforms as the best in the men’s game battle for the top honours.

Fans can watch the Premier 15s on BT Sport in more ways than ever before, on TV, online or via the BT Sport app, with customers also able to sign up contract free with the BT Sport Monthly Pass.
