Round 13 comes to its conclusion two days after Christmas as Harlequins and Bristol renew hostilities.
The two sides produced a Premiership classic in the 2021 play-offs, with Quins edging a 79-point thriller after extra-time at Ashton Gate.
Since then, Harlequins lost their crown to last season's winners Leicester, while Bristol have been in freefall.
The 2020 EPCR Challenge Cup winners made the last four in three consecutive campaigns between 2019 and 2021 but they sit rock bottom of the pile after nine games of the new season.
The Bears are level on points with London Irish and Newcastle Falcons, but prop up the table on account of their inferior points difference.
Bristol avoided defeat in their most recent league outing, a 26-26 with reigning champions Leicester, but the West Country outfit are without a Premiership victory since September.
With 2023 on the horizon, Pat Lam's men would love nothing more than to head into the New Year by upsetting one of the leading contenders for the title.
