John is an experienced sports broadcaster who works as a commentator and reporter for BT Sport

John Rawling is a commentator and reporter for BT Sport and BoxNation.

He is part of BT Sport's Fight Night Live boxing team and has called the action on BoxNation since 2011.

John can also be found behind the mic on BT Sport's coverage of the BDO World Championship.

He started out commentating on boxing and athletics for the BBC, covering major title fights and four Olympic Games, winning the Sony Radio Sports Broadcaster of the Year award in 1994.

A switch to ITV followed, where he featured on Sunday morning Football League highlights show 'The Championship', as well as Champions LeagueFA Cup and darts broadcasts.

He was Channel 4's lead commentator for their award-winning coverage of the London 2012 Paralympics and the 2011 World Championships.

John's other football commentary credits include the 2010 World Cup and Premier League matches, both for Talksport and the official world feed.

His achievements were further recognised in 2007, when he was named Sports Commentator of the Year award by the Royal Television Society.
