Paul Dempsey is a hugely experienced sports broadcaster who works as a presenter, commentator and reporter for BT Sport.
He is the anchor of BT Sport's exclusive live boxing coverage, presenting every Fight Night Live event, having previously fronted our Boxing Tonight studio show.
In addition, Paul has been a commentator and presenter on BoxNation - which is available to all BT Sport subscribers - since September 2011.
Paul can also be heard in the commentary box across our live Champions League, Europa League and European football coverage, with a particular focus on the Bundesliga.
He is a BT Sport 'lifer' having joined ahead of launch in August 2013, arriving with an impressive resume that includes 18 years working for Sky Sports and seven for Setanta Sports.
Paul was one of the first presenters to be seen on screen when Sky News launched in 1989, simultaneously establishing himself as one of the lead commentators on Sky’s initial sports channel, Eurosport.
He is also the co-creator of Sky Sports' enduring 'Soccer Saturday' format and presented the show in its early stages.
Right up to his departure from Sky in 2006, he anchored all the network's prime-time boxing, featuring the likes of Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson, Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Steve Collins and Naseem Hamed.
Paul has commentated on a wide range of football competitions for Setanta in the UK and Ireland, and his extensive broadcast credits also include World Cups, European Championships and Olympic Games.
