Code 404: Stephen Graham and Daniel Mays star in new cop comedy

DI John Major (Daniel Mays) and DI Roy Carver are the top crime fighting duo in the London Metropolitan Police’s Special Investigations Unit, until Major is killed on the job.

What is the series about? 

When an undercover sting goes horribly wrong, DI John Major is gunned down on the job and killed. How will the Special Investigations Unit cope without one half of the dynamic detective duo? It won’t have to. As a valuable asset, Major’s body is fast-tracked into a new Artificial Intelligence project to bring him back for the dead. The new DI Major looks and sound exactly like the old one, but it seems that not everything has been copied across. In fact, there’s quite a lot missing.

Between Major’s error-strewn hunches and Carver’s ability to smooth things over, the pair do just enough to scrape by. 

Who is in the cast?

Fisherman’s Friends star Daniel Mays plays DI John Major, while Stephen Graham (The Irishman) stars as his buddy DI Roy Carver.
