She made her on-screen debut 10 years ago in the daytime medical drama Doctors.
Since then, British actress Emilia Clarke has cracked Hollywood, with roles in Game of Thrones and Solo: A Star Wars Story earning her worldwide fame.
Here, we reveal our pick of Emilia’s best films to date and best of all, all are available for BT TV customers to buy in the BT TV Store now.
Solo: A Star Wars Story

What’s it about?
During an adventure into the criminal underworld, Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich, best known for Hail, Caesar!) meets his future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover, Atlanta) years before joining the Rebellion. The journey sets the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.
Emilia plays Han’s former lover, femme fatale Qi’ra. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she explained of the pair’s relationship.
“They grew up as comrades, essentially. They grew up as pals, as partners in crime. There is obviously the romantic side of things but they grew up together. So they were kids together… And within that relationship, the thing that that you see with Qi’ra is that she an enigma.”

Me Before You

What’s it about?
An adaptation of the Jojo Moyes novel of the same name, Me Before You tells the story of a girl from a small town who forms an unlikely bond with a recently-paralysed man she's caring for.
Emilia plays the character Lou Clark, appearing alongside Sam Claflin (best known for playing Finnick in The Hunger Games franchise), as Will Traynor.
A real tear-jerker of a romcom, Emilia revealed that she cried when she first read the book, and knew she wanted to be part of the movie adaptation as soon as she started reading.
She told DigitalSpy.com: "I knew as soon as I read the first pages of the book that it was something I wanted to do."
In a separate interview with Collider.com, Emilia confessed that the part of Lou was fairly easy to play as she’s a lot like her.
“I was really lucky ’cause Lou is kind of like me. So that’s one of the biggest things when I first read the book and the script," she revealed.
"So I was like, ‘That’s just … She’s got my surname as well!’ So that was not very much acting really for this one. The other stuff [Game of Thrones] is acting really.”

Voice From The Stone

What’s it about?
Set in 1950s Tuscany, this haunting drama follows young nurse Verena, played by Clarke, as she’s hired to help a mute young heir within an isolated castle, who has fallen under the spell of an otherworldly persona.
An adaptation of the book of the same name by Silvio Raffo, Emilia plays Verena, the British nurse specialising in children’s care - with some critics calling it her scariest role yet.

What’s it about?
When John Connor, leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt Kyle Reese back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline.
Emilia stars alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty) in the fifth installment in the Terminator franchise. She plays Sarah Connor, the protégée of Schwarzenegger’s character Pops and the woman destined to be John Connor's mother.
