Despite the show being renowned for its thrilling and explosive action sequences, it was a quieter scene at the end of season 1 that was the most memorable moment in the finale.
Marian Wallace (Michelle Fairley) and Ed Dumani (Lucian Msamati)’s private meeting in a church graveyard concluded with the duo pointing guns at each other and Ed pulling the trigger. In the post-credits sequence it was revealed that Marian survived the gunshot, but the tense and emotional scene was a fan favourite from the first season.
We caught up with Michelle Fairley and Lucian Msamati to find out their reactions to the scene and whether they think there is any potential in a Gangs of London spin-off exploring the history of the Wallace and Dumani empire.

What happens in Gangs of London season 2?
Gangs of London season 2 is set one year after the first and gangland anarchy is threatening to break out following the collapse of the Wallace Dumani empire.
The Investors have tried to bring back order by forcing Elliot to work for them and installing drug baron Asif and new brutal gang boss Koba as their leaders.
But with the unhinged Koba not playing by the usual gangster codes, and the rest of the capitals’ gangs preparing to hit back, the battle for London’s soul is about to be reignited.
