Olivia Colman (The Crown) will star in original new drama Landscapers, which follows the lives of convicted killers Susan and Christopher Edwards.

Inspired by true events, Landscapers will explore what made the devoted couple kill Susan’s parents and bury them in their back garden, where they remained undiscovered for over a decade.

What is Landscapers about?

Landscapers is the first television screenplay by Colman's husband Ed Sinclair and will be co-produced by their company South of the River Pictures alongside Sister, the team behind the multi award-winning drama Chernobyl.

Based on extensive research, including hours of interviews and direct access with the accused, who have always maintained their innocence, the show pivots through the various perspectives of Susan and Christopher as well as the police officers and lawyers involved in the case.

The four-part series takes the audience on a journey into the surreal fantasy world created by Susan and Christopher, who saw themselves as their Hollywood heroes.
