Mark Strong and Daniel Mays reveal Secrets from the Set: 'The ending is pretty unexpected'

What is Temple about?

In season 1, we saw surgeon Daniel Milton (Strong) desperate to save his wife Beth’s life. He partnered with misfit transport employee Lee (Mays) to start a literal ‘underground’ clinic in the tunnels beneath Temple Tube station.

The pair were then joined by Anna (Carice van Houten), a guilt-ridden medical researcher, and a variety of increasingly desperate and very dangerous patients.

The project tests Daniel’s morality to the limits, and asks how far you would go to save the person you love.

What will happen in season 2?

The second season picks up one month after the jaw-dropping end to the first season, and the team are brought back together when old crimes they thought they’d buried begin to resurface.

We'll find out what's happened to Beth, Anna lures patients to the clinic for illegal drug trials, Lee falls in love with a doomsday prepper, and Daniel has his hands full trying to keep everything under control.
