If you love American Horror Story and can’t get enough of scary films, you won’t want to miss the much-anticipated Amazon Prime series Them.

Stylishly shot and utterly terrifying, it looks set to become your next binge-watch series as it gets a UK launch date.

Here’s all you need to know about Them, including who's in the cast and when you can watch it on TV.

What is Them?

Them is launching as an anthology series – so expect further seasons of the show to come, with different casts and settings but the same horror theme.

It has been created by Little Marvin and Lena Waithe, and is billed as “exploring terror in America” which gives it scope to change time periods and locations with each season.

The first season of Them is set in 1950s America and features a Black family from North Carolina who move to an all-white neighbourhood in Los Angeles during the period called The Great Migration.

But their idyllic family home soon becomes a battleground for malevolent forces from both their own neighbourhood and other worlds as their enemies threaten to destroy them.

There’s a very creepy trailer, posted on Twitter, that gives a flavour of what to expect from Them – prepare to be scared even by these few scenes from the show:

Who’s in the cast?

Them stars Deborah Ayorinde (True Detective, Luke Cage), Ashley Thomas (Top Boy, Salvation), Shahadi Wright Joseph (Us, The Lion King) and Melody Hurd.

Also look out for Alison Pill (Devs, American Horror Story), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood, Home and Away) and Liam McIntyre (Spartacus, Star Trek: Resistance).

When is it on TV?

Them begins streaming on Amazon Prime Video from Friday April 9.

This is the first series in the anthology, and is 10 episodes long.
