Kay Mellor's lottery-winner drama is back with another all-star cast. Find out who's joining Neil Morrissey and Gaynor Faye for the latest story of a lottery jackpot turned sour.

Lottery drama The Syndicate is finally getting its series four after being delayed by the coronavirus pandemic – and the eclectic cast certainly looks worth the wait.
With a mix of established names like Neil Morrissey and Gaynor Faye joined by up-and-comers including Joe Sugg and Katie McGlynne, there are plenty of familiar faces to spot.
The six-part series marks the return of the drama for the first time since 2015, when Lenny Henry, Melanie Hill and Elizabeth Berrington starred as staff in a crumbling stately home who find their lives thrown into turmoil when their numbers come up.
This time, the storyline sees the hard-up staff of Woodvale Kennels strike it rich through their lottery syndicate.
When the owners of the kennels announce they’re planning on selling to a big chain, the loyal staff panic that they’ll be out of a job.
Many of them are living from one pay cheque to the next, so with no savings to fall back on, they can’t believe their luck when their numbers come up.
But is all as it seems, and how hard will they have to fight to get what is rightfully theirs?
The action takes the cast from Yorkshire to Monaco as they burn through every last penny they own to see justice done.
Writer Kay Mellor said: “Lockdown has been a roller-coaster of emotions for all of us. I was devastated not to be able to begin shooting the new Syndicate. All the scripts were written and we were four days away from principal photography but now we’re ready for the stage and I couldn’t be more excited.
“We’ve got a loyal, star-studded cast and a talented crew, who have waited patiently in the wings.
“This series is a brand-new story about a syndicate of low-paid kennel workers who think they’ve won the lottery but have been robbed of their ticket. The chase to confront the culprit takes us to the wealthy French Riviera where the young syndicate find themselves well out of their depth.”
Here’s who to look out for in that star-studded cast…
Keeley – Played by Katherine Rose Morley

Gambling addict Keeley sees a lottery syndicate win as the only way out of her disastrous situation with her fellow kennel workers.
They’re already working for a pittance, so when the local newsagent’s lottery machine registers that their numbers have come up, she couldn’t be happier – but will Keeley and co manage to claim their winnings?

The cast also includes Andrew Dunn (Dinnerladies, Coronation Street) and Lorraine Bruce, the only cast member to appear in every series of The Syndicate. Her character Denise was a lottery winner in series one and now works as a winners’ adviser.
