Laura Haddock is a 34-year-old English actress, who you may recognise from her various TV and movie appearances over the years.

The London-born star - who shares two children with ex-husband Sam Claflin - left school aged 17 to pursue her drama career, before making her on-screen debut in 2007.

She's since appeared in the blockbuster Marvel and Transformers movie franchises, as well as critically-acclaimed series The Capture and White Lines.

We round up some of the top movies and TV shows starring Laura Haddock.

The Inbetweeners Movie

Many fans of the E4 coming-of-age comedy series The Inbetweeners will recognise Laura from her role in The Inbetweeners Movie, which broke the record for the biggest opening weekend for a comedy film in the UK following its 2011 release.

Continuing after the events in The Inbetweeners TV series, the film follows Will, Simon, Jay and Neil on holiday in Malia together after the end of their final year at school.

Laura plays Alison, part of a group of girls who the gang meet on their first night out. She ends up being the love interest of Will (Simon Bird) throughout the movie, although it's revealed Alison broke up with him before the events of The Inbetweeners 2.

The Inbetweeners Movie is streaming on All4 now.

The Capture

In 2019, Laura starred alongside Holliday Grainger and Callum Turner in BBC One's crime-drama series, The Capture.

The six-part series follows a former soldier who finds himself accused of the kidnapping and murder of his barrister, Hannah Roberts.

Laura plays Hannah the barrister, who gets Shaun released - before going missing under mysterious circumstances.

The Capture is streaming on BBC iPlayer now.

White Lines

Laura plays Zoe, the central character in Netflix’s hit TV thriller that’s full of wild twists and outrageous turns.

In the 10-part series, Zoe’s brother Axel leaves their home city of Manchester for the party isle of Ibiza as an enthusiastic 15-year-old.

But, when Axel’s body is discovered 20 years later, Zoe heads over to the Spanish island to uncover the truth about what really happened to him.

White Lines season 1 is streaming on Netflix now.

Guardians of the Galaxy

One of Laura's biggest roles is in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy, part of the Marvel film franchise.

She plays Meredith Quill - the mother of Peter Quill / Star Lord (played by Chris Pratt), who bands together with a gang of intergalactic criminals.

Meredith died of brain cancer when Peter was just eight, so she appears in flashback scenes. Laura also appeared in the film's 2014 follow up, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2.

Guardians of the Galaxy is available to buy or rent from Amazon Prime Video.

Transformers: The Last Knight

Once again starring in another blockbuster movie franchise, Laura appears in the fifth Transformers movie, titled Transformers: The Last Knight.

The 2017 action film, directed by Michael Bay, sees Laura star alongside Hollywood heavyweights including Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Hopkins and Stanley Tucci.

She plays Vivian Wembley, an Oxford history professor and the last descendant of Merlin.

Transformers: The Last Knight is available to buy or rent from Amazon Prime Video.
