Bringing together elements of Taskmaster, Big Brother and Live at the Apollo, Rebel Wilson’s new Amazon Prime Video series is about to bring some much needed laughter to 2020.

The summer reality series, which is hosted and produced by the Pitch Perfect actress features 10 of Australian’s finest comedians battling it out for a $100,000 prize.

But to get the big money, these comics face a challenge that is no laughing matter.

What is Rebel Wilson's new show all about?

The format is simple. 10 professional comedians go head to head to see who can keep a straight face while simultaneously trying to make their opponents laugh.

The comics who laugh will be eliminated one-by-one, until a single contestant remains.

The only rule is that there are no rules. The comedians can say and do whatever they like, except laugh.

Laugh softly, and you'll receive a yellow card violation. A second offence will earn you a red card elimination and cost you the game.

Shot in 2019, the series was filmed non-stop over six hours and the comics taking part bring diverse styles ranging from improve, physical comedy to stand-up. Expect the unexpected.
