Red Notice: The Rock heads up cast of explosive new Netflix blockbuster

When a film stars Dwayne Johnson, aka former WWE champion The Rock, the chances are you’re in for a rousing ride. And Hollywood’s action heavyweight doesn’t disappoint in Red Notice, alongside fellow A-listers Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot.
Read on to find out everything you need to know about this explosive new Netflix film coming your way soon.
What’s Red Notice about?
If you love a good action film, you’re in for a real treat with Red Notice. It’s written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, the man behind blockbusters such as Skyscraper and comedy crime-caper Criminal Intelligence – both of which also starred Dwayne Johnson.
This time around Johnson plays the FBI’s top profiler, Special Agent John Hartley. When Interpol issues a Red Notice - the highest-level warrant used to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted criminals - Agent Hartley is hot on the case.
Cue a heart-pounding game of cat and mouse played out across the globe as Agent Hartley pursues the world’s most-wanted art thief, ‘The Bishop’, played by Gal Gadot.
In search of any advantage he can get, Agent Hartley enlists the help of another notorious art thief, Nolan Booth, played by Ryan Reynolds. Reluctantly, they team up as part of a daring art heist that brings about some epic action sequences and laugh-out-loud scenes.
With car chases, explosions and gravity-defying acrobatics, Johnson, Reynolds, Gadot and the rest of the Red Notice cast cook up a feast of thrilling action to get the adrenaline pumping. This is blockbuster-action-with-a-heart at its very best.
And don’t just take our word for it. The Rock himself said on Instagram it’s “Netflix’s biggest movie ever – and the most fun!”
