AMC is the US studio behind the smash-hit dramas Mad Men and Breaking Bad and it is now the home of the thrilling series Fear the Walking Dead, Preacher, Dispatches From Elsewhere and many more.

How to watch AMC

The channel is exclusive to BT TV customers and it features an incredible mix of fantastic films, premium dramas and powerful documentaries.

BT TV customers can choose the way they want to watch, whether it’s live, on catch-up or on the BT TV App. 

1. Watch AMC on your BT TV box

BT TV customers can watch live episodes of series such as Fear the Walking Dead and Jason Segel’s Dispatches from Elsewhere on BT TV channel 332.

AMC is also available in stunning HD on BT TV channel 381.

2. Catch up on AMC on the BT TV Player

Don’t worry if you miss an episode of your favourite show. Just press the BT TV Player on your remote and all the latest episodes are available to watch again, when it suits you.

You can also login to the BT Player online.

3. Watch AMC on the go with the BT TV App

Get the BT TV App on your phone or tablet and you can watch AMC series on the move.

All the latest episodes will be available to download and if you press ‘Continue Watching’, the episode will pick up from the point you were last watching on your TV.

The App also has a remote record option and TV listings, so you can set reminders and record episodes and full series from your phone, wherever you are.

What’s On – New shows this winter

Better Call Saul season 4

The TV premiere of the award-winning Better Call Saul’s fourth season is a must-watch if you’re not up to date with the story of Jimmy McGill aka Saul Goodman.

By the end of season 3, a near-fatal car crash forced Jimmy and Kim to re-evaluate what’s truly important to them - and how far they’re willing to go to pursue their ambitions.

While Kim chooses to take a step back from her fledgling solo practice to recuperate, Jimmy tries to make amends with his brother. Chuck rejects Jimmy’s attempt to reconcile and soon relapses, tearing apart his house to remove any last pulse of electricity and then finally setting a deadly fire.

The series explores the dark power and wicked fun of scary movies, the craft that went into making them, and the ways that horror films reflect the anxieties of their times. The story is told by Eli Roth and a celebrated cast of writers, directors, actors, cinematographers, composers, and special effects artists who bring our nightmares to life. 

Interviewees include Stephen King, Quentin Tarantino, Jordan Peele, Ari Aster, Bill Hader, Nancy Allen, Megan Fox, Greg Nicotero, Rob Zombie, James Brolin and Edgar Wright.

The Terror season 1

December sees the return of The Terror anthology series. Season 1 airs with double-bill episodes from 9pm, weeknights, from 14th until 18th December.

Produced by Ridley Scott and inspired by a true story, The Terror focuses on the British Royal Navy’s perilous voyage into uncharted territory as the crew attempts to discover the Northwest Passage, the route from Europe through the Arctic Ocean to the Pacific.

Faced with treacherous conditions, limited resources, dwindling hope and fear of the unknown, the crew is pushed to the brink of extinction. Frozen, isolated and stuck at the ends of the earth, The Terror shows all that can go wrong when a group of men, desperate to survive, struggle not only with the elements but with each other.

NOS4A2 season 1 and 2

NOS4A2 season 2 AMC

This December, AMC welcomes you back to Christmasland with the return of NOS4A2 season 1 and 2. Double-bill episodes will air Monday-Friday from 9pm, with Season 1 starting on 21st-25th December and Season 2 starting on 28th December - 1st January.

The supernatural horror series NOS4A2 based on Joe Hill’s bestselling 2013 novel of the same name, tells the story of Charlie Manx, a seductive immortal who feeds off the souls of children and then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – an icy, twisted Christmas village of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law.
